Worship and Music
We have a casual worship atmosphere, even though we do use a variety of standard liturgical forms such as the Gloria Patri and the Doxology. Our bulletins are meant to be "user friendly" by including, for instance, whether on a particular Sunday we are using "trespasses" or "debts" in the Lord's Prayer. We want everyone to feel welcome. We currently use the New Century Hymnal.

JJ Huntley is our main church musician. Over the years, she has provided us with a high quality musical experience in worship. She plays the piano and organ and directs our choir, which is a seasonal group that anyone is welcome to join. Practice is usually an hour before worship. We are blessed to have several trained voices in our congregation, who offer special music through solos, duets, and small groups. We are also blessed to have several additional keyboard players, as well as guitar, flute, and drum players when needed. Worship music includes a variety of traditional hymns, gospel, and praise music. We even have an annual "Cowboy Hymn Sing."
